HC FL Touchdown 123T ETTouchdown was the 2009 Canadian National Champion Shorthorn bull. He came back here to be a herd sire and he is now in his 6th year walking our pastures. He was sold to LA Land and Cattle Co., Leduc, AB when he was 3 months old and they developed him and brought him out to win the National Championship. When we saw how he had developed we made a deal to bring him home to become a herd sire here. He certainly has done an excellent job of producing sons and daughters that are accepted by commercial and purebred producers alike. His calves are moderate framed and possess excellent muscling. They are very sound and his daughters are fertile and have superb udders.

Hillside LeaderWe purchased Hillside Leader from the Bales family in Tennessee as we were looking for a low birth weight bull that was a dark cherry red color. Hillside Leader also possessed an outcross pedigree and moderate frame. He was also homozygous polled. Unfortunately, we lost him during his first breeding season after he broke a leg, however we continue to use him in our herd by AI. His calves are moderate framed with excellent muscling and are born easily. They are dark reds and roans. I have attached two pictures at 14 months of age and at 20 months.

Wolf Willow Major Leroy 1M
Major Leroy was a herdsire in our herd for many years. His dam is still in our herd at 16 years of age, and she has been one of our best donors as have several of her daughters and grand daughters. Semex International marketed Major Leroy around the world for several years.
Major Leroy was moderate framed but possessed tremendous length and thickness. He was the easiest fleshing bull we ever used and he has passed this important trait on to his offspring. His daughters are moderate and thick and fertile. A daughter HC Picture Perfect 46X is a donor in our herd and she has embryos sent to several countries already. Another daughter HC Cherry Mist 59T, has produced a son ( HC Warrior 59W) who topped our sale a few years ago at $9800. She also is the dam of HC Marksman 25Z, who is a herd sire at Moore Shorthorns , Jerseyville, IL and he was undefeated at many US shows in 2014.

Shady Lane Rockstar 9x
Shady Lane Rockstar 9X was Grand Champion Bull at the 2011 Canadian Western Agribition. He has been an outstanding bull since birth but his real value was shown when his first calves arrived. Like him, they have been born easily and have excellent eye appeal and sound structure. He is sired by HC Timeline 17T ET who was one of the best performance sires we have ever used. The dam of Rockstar is one of the best daughters of Saskvalley Pioneer 126P in Canada. Rockstar has been tested as being homozygous polled and so far all his calves have been smooth polled.
One of the first Rockstar calves was our second top selling bull in the 2014 Sun Country Shorthorn Sale. A daughter of Rockstar was Junior Heifer Calf Champion at Canadian Western Agribition and returned in 2015 to be named Junior Champion Female at National Shorthorn show at Agribition.

HC Bluebook 22B
They were taken a few days after his 1st birthday. He weighed 85 lbs at birth on March 14,2014. Actual WW 692 lbs Sept 16/14 Actual weight March 19/15 1312 lbs. Bluebook topped out 2014 Sun Country Shorthorn Sale at $32,000 to Maple Stone Farm, East Garafraxa, ON and Goulding Genetics in Ireland. He had both commercial and purebred breeders bidding on him to the end. Several of the best breeders in Canada bid on him when he sold. We feel that he will continue to develop into an outstanding sire. Both his sire and dam are TH and PHA free. We are presently testing Bluebook and also are testing him for being homozygous polled. ( We are pretty sure he is but until we have the test results we will not say this for sure)
Bluebook is tremendous thickness and length of body, along with a moderate frame. He is extremely well muscled with a smooth shoulder and is very sound structured. He possesses masculinity and excellent testicles that are well shaped and hang straight. His feet at well formed, dark colored and sound in every way. Bluebook has a great disposition and led the first time a halter touched his head.

Sprys Master Blaster ZO39
Master Blaster is one of the most predictable breeding bulls in the shorthorn breed, he sold at Sprys sale for $48,000 and has sired many carcase winning and top selling bulls. Blaster will at least add another butt score to his progeny yet remaining sound, Blaster was bought by Eungella Shorthorns in 2010 where he was the leading stud sire untill his untimely death in 2014 as a rising 10 year old.
